About Friends and Allies
Friends and Allies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women affected by domestic violence, trauma, and economic hardship. With a long-standing commitment to healing and empowerment, Friends and Allies provides resources, safe spaces, and programs that help women rebuild their lives with dignity. Rarri Ready operates as an official branch under their umbrella, allowing us to serve single mothers in Columbus, Ohio with the same level of care and compassion. Through this partnership, we’re able to accept tax-deductible donations, expand outreach, and provide holistic support that goes beyond clothing — creating a pathway for women to rise stronger, together.

How We Help?
How We Help Domestic Violence Survivors
At Rarri Ready, we work in partnership with Friends and Allies, an organization dedicated to helping domestic violence survivors escape unsafe and abusive situations. Once survivors are safe, Rarri Ready steps in to support their healing and personal growth. We provide free business attire, interview preparation, and financial literacy training, helping them regain their confidence and independence. Additionally, we connect them with employers offering job opportunities, creating a stable path to employment and financial freedom.
How We Help Single Mothers
Single mothers face unique challenges, balancing their responsibilities while working hard to provide for their families. At Rarri Ready, we offer a range of resources to help them succeed. We provide free business attire, interview preparation, and financial literacy training to give them the confidence and skills to secure job opportunities. We also offer essential items such as food, diapers, wipes, toys, household goods, cleaning supplies, and toiletries to ensure their families have the stability and support they need. In addition, we offer rental assistance and help with utility bills, further easing the financial burden and creating a stable foundation for their families.
How We Help Children
The children of single mothers and domestic violence survivors often carry the weight of their families' struggles. At Rarri Ready, we want to give them the opportunity to simply be children again. By providing essential items such as clothing, toys, food, diapers, wipes, and other basic needs, we help create a sense of stability and security in their lives. When their foundational needs are met, they can focus on what matters most—playing, learning, and growing without the stress of uncertainty. Our goal is to ensure that these children have the chance to experience the joy and care they deserve, building a brighter future without the shadows of hardship following them.
